Three Bayern academy talents have hit the injury list this summer with no set timetable on their return. As published on the club website:

FC Bayern Amateure will be without center-backs Tarek Buchmann and David Heindl, as well as forward Noah Codjo-Evora, until further notice. Buchmann has suffered a syndesmosis injury, while Codjo-Evora has sustained a fracture to the metacarpal bones; both have already undergone successful surgery. Heindl also suffered an ankle ligament injury and is already working on his comeback during rehabilitation.

The big news, of course, is Buchmann. The 21-year-old has been touted for years to be a breakout candidate from the Bayern academy, but injuries have repeatedly gotten in the way. Buchmann’s loan spell in the 2. Bundesliga with FC Nürnberg ended last season with just two league appearances and one start.

Heindl (2025) and Codjo-Evora (2024) are more recent additions to the Bayern campus. Get better soon, everyone!
