Bayern Munich have completed their pre-season summer tour in Asia with a 2-1 victory in a friendly match against Aston Villa on Friday in Hong Kong.
Bayern took a 1-0 lead into the half-time after Min Jae Kim broke the deadlock in the 37th minute.
Luis Diaz doubled their lead as he unleashed a rocket into the roof of the net in the 74th before Aston Villa pulled one back through João Gomes in the 83rd.
Bayern's summer tour also included a stop in South Korea, where they beat Jeju SK 2-1 on Tuesday.
They were without their top stars, such as Harry Kane and Michael Olise, who are still on holidays following the World Cup. Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies and Lennert Karl also didn't travel as they are working on individual fitness programmes.
The Bavarians have two further friendly matches against RB Leipzig (August 15) and Heidenheim (August 18) before they kick off the season against Borussia Dortmund on August 22 in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup.
Their first Bundesliga match is on August 28 against VfB Stuttgart.
