I’m surprised all is quite on the DRC front, not just with ARZ but league wide. He was in the news a few weeks ago regarding someone getting shot at a pool party he was hosting.

He'll probably sign with the Colts and never make it to the Desert. Hope I'm wrong.

Why he has to sign immediately with them after 3months of free agency when he is scheduled to visit cardinals tomorrow
He waited so long he can wait one more day

They were talking about him on tv and they were questioning whether he will be able to get $8 mil/year. I don't know where that number came from. Is that what he's trying to get?

According to PFF he was the 21st best corner in the league last year and PP the was 9th. He deserves starter money I really hope he ends up here.

He's been a good player here, but it would be great to see him leave Washington for AZ.

All in on this move.

But, I'd still like to bring in some safety help. If we shored up both spots? Man, I'd feel a lot different about this team than I did months ago.

Wouldn't 8 mil eating up all the remaining cap space, after paying the rookies and saving about 5 mil for in season injuries? I know they could make more cap space if they wanted to, but I just don't see SK spending 8 mil on a CB2. I hope I am wrong though.

That's assuming he gets the same contract he was offered just coming out into the heat of free agency. Now? Probably not.

Still have Phil Dawson eating up 2.5mil of cap space, and A.Q. Shipley eating up another 2mil.

I would like to keep Shipley aboard, but for a competent CB#2 ? I think that is a risk the Cardinals would have to take.

Who really cares if we cut Phil Dawson.

There are still moves that can be made to make this happen, but it matters on this guy's price tag, and what he wants as well.

Sure, if the undrafted free agent can be an efficient kicker, dawson, who has been a sub par kicker here, is easily replacable

I used to tout PFF, but over the years Ive seen where they somehow rate players lower on the Cardinals than we would. What I mean is that a guy will have an amazing game, and then PFF will talk about how great Shipley was. Their assessments don't always match reality.

Patrick Peterson was not the 9th best corner in football. It's just not true. He gave up only a few TDs and rarely even allowed a completion.

One thing I saw was for how great Peters was for the Chiefs last year, dude gave up ALOT of TDs. Yes he gets picks, but he also gave up a ton of TDs since he entered the league. And he is a headcase.

You can only cut Dawson if there is an adequate replacement. Sure he missed more kicks than he usually does, but it was obvious that he was constantly concerned about his blocking on the edges.
