The Los Angeles Dodgers have pulled off a blockbuster trade for Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers.
The Dodgers have won the last two World Series titles and are now even stronger after acquiring one of the MLB’s best pitchers.
Fans cannot believe all they had to trade were Zyhir Hope, River Ryan, and Brady Smith for the two-time Cy Young Award winner.
Many have since agreed on the perfect NBA comparison for the Dodgers’ Skubal deal.

Baseball fans compare Tarik Skubal’s move to Kevin Durant
Tarik Skubal’s move to the Los Angeles Dodgers has been compared to the Golden State Warriors signing Kevin Durant in 2016.
The Warriors won the NBA title in 2015 and lost a seven-game Finals series to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.
They then signed Durant in free agency to play alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
The move made the Warriors unbeatable, barring injury or suspension, which many believe to be true about the LA Dodgers now.
One X user even replied to Real App’s tweet that the “craziest part is [Skubal’s move] is even worse” than Durant’s.
With the likes of Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, and Max Muncy already on the roster, the Dodgers’ talent is remarkable.
