Barcelona star ‘practically ruled out’ for remainder of World Cup

Barcelona star Raphinha looks highly likely to miss the remainder of this summer’s World Cup tournament.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil were of course back in action in the early hours of Saturday. The aforementioned Raphinha featured from the off in the matchup, joining Vinícius Jr. and Matheus Cunha in a star-studded Seleção frontline.

The issue has since been confirmed to be in Raphinha’s troublesome right hamstring, the same one which caused him issues at club level once more this past season.

And owing to as much, the 29-year-old may well have played his final game at the 2026 World Cup.
