Barcelona 2 – 0 Real Madrid Player Ratings

Thibaut Courtois: 8. Made five saves, and if not for him, Real Madrid would’ve lost by more than two goals.

Trent Alexander-Arnold: 6. He made four key passes and whipped in dangerous set-pieces. Recovered well defensively after being beaten by Fermín López initially.

Raúl Asencio: 4. Made a couple good passes over the top to Vinicius and Gonzalo respectively and probably should’ve had an assist. Barcelona’s second goal was largely his fault.

You would think Raul Asensio might have something to prove tonight. Guess not. https://t.co/kf1KnmBn6B

Antonio Rüdiger: 4.5. Not much to note. Defensively he was scrambling as the play broke down in front of him, though his distribution was solid.

Fran García: 4. Showed fight, but struggled under Barça’s press all night.

Eduardo Camavinga: 5. His long-range distribution was solid, and he played a good through ball to Bellingham in the first half.

Aurélien Tchouaméni: 4. Good switches of play and was a threat attacking set pieces.

Brahim Díaz: 5. Led the team with six completed dribbles and was one of the few fighters, though he overdribbled at times.

Jude Bellingham: 3. Poor on the ball and never imposed himself on the game.

Vinicius Jr.: 1. Lost possession 17 times and misplaced nearly 50% of his passes, while his shooting was poor.

Gonzalo García: 3. Should’ve scored on a breakaway and struggled to get involved.

Substitutes:

Thiago Pitarch: 5. Put in good effort and looked to help Madrid escape pressure deep.

César Palacios: N/A.

Franco Mastantuono: N/A.
