Barça confirm Batlle exit ahead of rumoured Arsenal switch
Barcelona have confirmed another key player's departure with Ona Batlle leaving the club on the expiry of her contract after three seasons with the club.
Batlle began her career with Barça before leaving the club and later making her name with Manchester United, making 15 assists in a standout 2022/23 campaign.
The defender then returned to Barça where she won three league titles as well as two Champions Leagues before bidding farewell in Wednesday's game against Real Sociedad.
Reports have strongly suggested that Batlle's destination is back in the WSL with a move to Arsenal on the cards and terms having already been discussed between the two parties.
Batlle played 37 times for Barça in all competitions, scoring three times and making three assists.
