After a blowout loss in Week 1, Miami Dolphins fans aren't too happy with the team's current leadership.

Chris Grier is now in his tenth season as general manager of the Dolphins, and the team still doesn't have a playoff victory during his tenure. Head coach Mike McDaniel got the Dolphins to the postseason in his first two years, but Miami looks further from being a Super Bowl contender than it has in years.

With the Dolphins' home opener on the way Sunday afternoon against the New England Patriots, a banner flying overhead gave team owner Stephen Ross a direct message about the fanbase's thoughts on Grier and McDaniel.

In January, shortly after the Dolphins finished with an 8-9 record that was good enough for second place in the AFC East but not enough for a wild card berth, Ross announced that both Grier and McDaniel would return in 2025.

"I believe in the value of stability," a statement from Ross read, in part. "However, continuity in leadership is not to be confused with an acceptance that status quo is good enough."
