The Baltimore Ravens underwent a major overhaul along the offensive line during the offseason, but former Washington Huskies star Roger Rosengarten remains a constant at right tackle. After two seasons in the NFL, he looks like an important building block for rookie head coach Jesse Minter.
Baltimore selected Rosengarten with the No. 62 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, and since then, he's turned into a rock-solid protector for two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson with 31 starts under his belt. With All-Pro center Tyler Linderbaum leaving in free agency for the Las Vegas Raiders, the Ravens are looking for as much consistency as possible after an injury-plagued 2025 season.
The organization is hoping some of that will come through the draft, after selecting Penn State interior offensive lineman Olaivavega Ioane (a one-time Washington commit out of in-state Graham Kapowsin High School) in the first round, but Rosengarten will have a major part to play.
Rosengarten allowed just 28 pressures and 3 sacks with 4 quarterback hits across 1,014 total snaps last season, which earned him a 74.5 overall grade from Pro Football Focus, placing him at No. 25 among the 89 qualified tackles the analytics site graded that year.
However, the grander NFL media thought much higher of Rosengarten, as he received a pair of All-Pro votes following his second season in the league. With All-Pro left tackle Ronnie Stanley turning 32 in March, Rosengarten could quickly become the cornerstone for Baltimore's offensive line.
If he can keep up his high level of play in 2026, which may be a little easier now that the Cleveland Browns have traded 2025 Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett out of the AFC North, Rosengarten could be in line for a hefty contract extension at the end of the year.
