Austin girls golfers advance to second day of Section 1AAA play

May 26— The Austin girls golf team advanced to the second day of the Section 1AAA Tournament as the Packers finished sixth on the first day of the meet in Cannon Falls Tuesday.

Ailani Thiravong had the eighth best overall score with an 82 for the Packers, who will compete in the Section 1AAA finals at Cannon Falls Thursday.
