Jun. 4— Austin senior Cole Hebrink lost both of his matches on the first day of the Class AA individual state tennis tournament at the Baseline Tennis Center at the University of Minnesota Thursday.
Hebrink fell to Logan Lunseth of Blaine by scores of 6-0, 6-3 in the consolation round after he lost his first match to Tarun Gopalakrishan of The Blake School, who was seeded third, by a score of 6-1, 6-2.
Hebrink is the first Packer boy to play in the individual tournament since 1989 and he finishes the year with a record of 16-6 overall.
