AUBURN — Maybe at this rate, Steven Pearl and Will Wade will blossom into one of the SEC's next great rivalries.

The pair squared off in Pearl's inaugural season as Auburn basketball's head coach, with the Tigers beating Wade and NC State at Neville Arena. But with the former LSU coach returning to his old stomping grounds, Auburn's set to face the program twice this year in its conference slate, which had opponents announced Thursday, June 25.

Dates, times and TV assignments for the 18-game conference schedule will be announced at a later date.

Last season, Auburn's new home-and-away conference foe was Arkansas, but they've been replaced with LSU this season. They join Alabama and Ole Miss as the teams Auburn will face twice this season.
