The Auburn Tigers continue to pick up wins in the SEC. Auburn defeated the Texas Longhorns, 88-82 at home on Wednesday, Jan. 28, for its fourth-straight win.

The Tigers have improved to 14-7 and 5-3 in conference play. It's becoming a broken record, but another big game from Keyshawn Hall. This is now the third 30-point game in conference matchups for the transfer senior forward.

Hall has shown to be the offensive engine for the Tigers. He is averaging 20.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 41.9% from the three-point line in the game. The Tigers were also thankful for the late-game clutch play from Kevin Overton. In the last two minutes of the game against Texas, he went 6-of-6 from the free throw line.

Auburn came into the game ranked No. 25 in the KenPom. So, where do the Tigers rank now? Here is Auburn basketball ranked in every major statistical category according to KenPom.

Overall No. 26​


KenPom has the Tigers falling one spot in the latest rankings. Auburn drops from No. 25 to No.26. Not a huge change, but they do remain in the top-30 of KenPom heading into their next matchup.

Offensive efficiency: No. 9​


The Tigers' offensive efficiency continues to rise, coming at No. 9 after the Texas win. KenPom scores Auburn's offensive efficiency rating at 125.6, which is just 0.6 higher than going into the week.

Defensive efficiency: No. 74​


The defense for the Tigers has been playing better this last few weeks, but has dipped to No. 74. Auburn's defensive efficiency rating scores a 103.8, a small increase of 0.6, similar to the offense.

Adjusted tempo: No. 188​


According to KenPom, the Tigers are sitting almost exactly at the national average of adjusted tempo rating. Auburn has a 67.3, while the national average is a 67.4.

Strength of schedule: No. 2​


The schedule for the Auburn remains ranked No. 2 in KenPom's latest rankings. Their overall score is a +13.79.
