After two weekends of SEC play and two series wins, Auburn baseball continues to rise in the national Top 25 polls.

The Tigers beat then-No. 13 Vanderbilt twice in a weekend series that kicked off SEC play, and they hit the road over the weekend for another league series against then-No. 24 Kentucky. Auburn took the first two games, winning 8-7 twice before losing the finale 6-0.

With it, the Tigers rose four spots in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll, from No. 16 to No. 12. They saw similar results in other polls.

    • D1Baseball: No. 11 (+9)
    • Perfect Game: No. 11 (+7)
    • Baseball America: No. 12 (+5)
    • USA TODAY Coaches: No. 12 (+4)

Auburn rose five spots in Baseball America's listing, up to No. 12, and it climbed nine spots in the D1Baseball poll, up to No. 11. The Tigers also had a seven-spot climb in Perfect Game's listing to rise to No. 11.

Auburn is one of 11 SEC teams in USA TODAY listing, alongside Tennessee (1), Arkansas (2), Georgia (3), LSU (6), Texas (7), Oklahoma (9), Alabama (11), Vanderbilt (13), Ole Miss (15) and Florida (23).

The Tigers play four times in the coming week. They'll head to Montgomery on Tuesday for a matchup with South Alabama before heading east to play No. 3 Georgia in a three-game series, beginning Friday.
