TODAY’’S GAME: Tonight, the Astros and White Sox play the 3rd game of this 3-game series at Rate Field in Chicago. RHP Ronel Blanco (0-0) starts for the Astros as he takes on White Sox RHP Erik Fedde (5-6).

ROAD WARRIORS: Today is the 3rd game of a 6-game road trip for the Astros, during which they are scheduled to play 3-game sets vs. the Chica- go White Sox (Fri.-Sun.) and Los Angeles Angels

(Mon.-Wed.)…the Astros are 19-12 (.600) on their last five road trips combined and are 25-18 (.571) on the road since going 1-9 on their first road trip of the season.

STREAKING: The Astros have won 5 straight games, which matches their longest win streak of the season (other was March 28-April 1)…a win today would give the Astros their longest streak since an 8-game win streak, Aug. 6-14 of 2024 (all 8 wins were on the road).

SWEEPSTAKES: A win today would give the Astros their 4th series sweep of the season and their 2nd on the road…their last sweep was earlier this week vs. MIA (July 20-22)…their other road sweep was May 20-22 at CHC…VS. TODAY’S INDUCTION: Two former Astros are scheduled to be inducted into the National Baseball HOF in Cooperstown this afternoon…OF Carlos Beltran (2004, 2017) and 2B Jeff Kent (2003-04) had short but significant stints with the Astros…CF Andruw Jones is also being inducted today.

VS. THE CHISOX: The Astros are facing the White Sox for the 1st time in 2026…they were 3-3 vs. CWS last season, going 2-1 at home and 1-2 here in Chicago…the Astros are 22-13 (.629) vs. CWS over the past 6 seasons (2021-26), posting winning records in each of the past 5 seasons…HOU is 55-46 all-
time vs. CWS…the Astros are now 5-0 in Chicago in 2026 (swept the Cubs at Wrigley, May 22-24).
