Aston Villa are interested in bringing Paris Saint-Germain forward Ibrahim Mbaye to the Villa Park club this summer, according to Sky Sports. Villa manager Unai Emery wants to strengthen his attacking options at the Midlands club going forward, and the Senegalese international could emerge as a top target. Mbaye has made 25 appearances for PSG this term, weighing in with a goal and two assists in 19 Ligue 1 appearances.
The 18-year-old has only started ten games this season, and a move to Villa could appeal to him if he is guaranteed regular playing opportunities. Mbaye plays on both wings and even in central midfield, and the Villans could do with his talents and huge potential. They are challenging for a top-four finish in the Premier League as they eye Champions League qualification for next season, and securing a spot in the elite European competition could boost their chances of luring the Senegalese to England.
Several Premier League clubs are considering a move for the PSG forward and pipping them to his services would be huge for Villa.
