Okay, you lurkers and shirkers who spend your workday on ASFN:

1. In January, we used 29.2 gigabytes of bandwidth, the first time we've been over 29. At 30 GB, we go over my standard purchase and I've got to make a decision whether to contract for a dedicated server.

2. In February, we used 26 + GB in a short month.

3. In January, we got hits from 80 countries and we were increasingly googled and yahooed.

4. In February, we were accessed by over 26,000 unique visitors with an average of 308 thousand total hits per day.

The growth of this site has been unbelievable. Managing it is a blast. Thanks to all.

Congrats on having such a popular site, I didn't know people had so much interest in the cards, does it list the countries???
80 countries after you subtract the major big countries, are people from Zimbabwe and Columbia reading this site??

This sites success is a reflection of how you and the other mods run it skkorp.

A board like the cards corner is a joke compared to this one.

So, "don't go changin'..." :D

Wow! Thats pretty cool!

So what can we do to help?

Would some advertising help offset the cost? Can we set up some sort of donation system?

There is not much I would pay for on the internet, but this is defintely something worth pitching in for.

Thanks Skkorp!

That's a lot of people reading our posts. Does that mean we're all famous?

Woo hoo! I'm a celebrity! I think I'll start selling my autograph for $100 a pop.

Skkorp, thanks again for the best website on the net. You rock! :band:

You Cards fans are so conceited :)

There are boards for the Suns, Dbacks and Coyotes on here as well, so it's not just interest in the Cards that brings traffic (although I'd say they bring in at least 60% of it).

Also, we have ALL our threads easily accessibly by Google, so our off-topic forums generate a lot of hits as well.

Skkorp,

That is a tribute to your professionalism and dedication. So, thank you.

Also, I really feel guilty about having so much fun for free. Thanks, again.

I already do that, but ASFN makes it slightly more bearable.

Thanks, Jim!

Congrats Skorp!

1 Was the hiring of DG responsible for the increase? Any ideas on the reason of the increase?

2 This is the best forum I have come across the net of any type.
And the posters here need to take some of the credit for that. It is the posters who ultimately make a forum what it is.

 to everyone associated with this place in anyway.

This board is setup great. It also helps to have someone associated with the Cards actually posting here. Thanks, Jim O. for being part of it and answering our questions and giving us heads up when you can. I also love having an avatar of my very own.

Congrads ASFN.

Now, the boards seems pretty fast for me right now, so I would not go out and get your own server, but instead just purchase more bandwidth. It's easier in the long run until you get really huge.

I'm going to start an affilate program on my AntSports website this year, so with luck, all the ASFN guys can signup for some fantasy football and thereby contribute to this site as well.

I'll post when signups for AntSports affilate program is ready.

Heh, most exciting time of year, at least, in the offseason year.... than and the 2 or 3 days leading up to the draft.
