Asencio suffers hamstring injury, will miss entire preseason

Real Madrid defender Raúl Asencio has suffered a serious hamstring injury, one which will keep him out of the field for at least six weeks. That means that Asencio will miss the rest of Real Madrid’s preseason and also the first few weeks of La Liga.

After the tests carried out today on our player Raúl Asencio by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the ****** femoris of his right leg. Awaiting progress.

Asencio is on Real Madrid’s transfer block as the club wants to find a new team for him. This injury complicates things, as Los Blancos were not receiving much interest for the Spanish defender anyway. If he ends up staying, Asencio will be behind Huijsen, Militao, Rudiger and Konate in the rotation.
