Tennis fans have not heard much from WTA World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka since her Wimbledon exit. However, the tiger, as she is known, is back with a vengeance.
Sabalenka is the two-time defending US Open champion and is looking for a three peat.
She is feeling fiesty and aggressive, evidenced by her US Open Nike kit reveal.

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let’s remember, for some insane reason, Nike has not yet given Sabalenka her own unique kits.
That means we will likely see the Spiderman-inspired kit on other players. The black netting covers a red two piece sports bra and bike shorts ensemble.
This could be the last Grand Slam where Sabalenka does not have a custom Nike kit. In late 2025, Sabalenka said that custom Nike kits could be coming her way in 2027.

As is the case with most Nike tennis kits, some like it, and some do not.
On social media, someone encouraged her to go to Wilson for better looking kits. Marta Kostyuk always looks great, as well as Anatasia Potapova, so that’s a valid argument.

Sabalenka has been with Nike since she began her rise in the rankings, nearly a decade ago. She obviously likes her partnership with the brand because she probably had multiple chances to leave if she wanted.
Despite defending her Brisbane title in January and winning the Sunshine Double in March, Sabalenka has not won a Grand Slam since last year’s US Open. Moreover, she has not played in a Grand Slam final since January’s Australian Open when she lost to Elena Rybakina.
Sabalenka has created such an impossible high standard that fans have come to expect her to be in the finals of every Grand Slam tournament. She is 36-6 so far this season.
She loves New York and the US Open so expect her to thrive in the limelight.
