Arsenal are set to announce the £34 million signing of Club Bruges winger Christos Tzolis today, according to The Times. The Gunners have identified the Greece international as a replacement for Leandro Trossard. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants quality players at the Emirates Stadium club, and more signings are expected after Tzolis. The 24-year-old will reportedly wear the number 17 and will hope to hit the ground running at the North London club. The Gunners are also looking to sign another centre-back with William Saliba set to spend months on the injury sidelines.
The France international fractured his back at the World Cup and Arsenal need a replacement as they look to hit the ground running next term.
The Gunners are desperate to retain the Premier League title next season and also go one better in the Champions League after losing last term’s final to Paris Saint-Germain.
