Arsenal not interested in Kone despite transfer links
Manu Koné could be sacrificed on the altar of capital gains by June 30th to comply with the settlement agreement.
Roma values the French midfielder at around €50 million, a figure that would alienate clubs with limited financial strength.
This morning, the 2001-born player was strongly linked with Arsenal, who reportedly already have an agreement with the player’s agent.
As Matteo Moretto reports, however, there is no truth to these reports: the Gunners are holding off on advanced talks for Koné.Koné is not currently a target for Arsenal.
There have been firm denials of talks between the Gunners and the Roma midfielder, who is focused on the World Cup.
