When your "closer" has a career ERA over 10.00 you know you're in big trouble.

And thats how you keep me from investing time/$ to go out and sit there for 4 hours and then bring in some AAA pitcher to blow the game

It was no secret what the biggest weakness of the team going into the season - they went cheap again, and this is the result.

Diamondbacks leading 8-5 going to the bottom of the 9th. Even a 3-run lead does not feel safe.

The Diamondbacks win 8-6 and split the series. Of course the bullpen made it interesting. Padres had the tying run at the plate before getting the third out.
