The Arizona Cardinals made roster moves on Wednesday, placing tight end Travis Vokolek on injured reserve and signing tight end Josiah Deguara from the practice squad to the active roster. They also made two additions to the practice squad.
They signed tight end Pharaoh Brown and receiver Bryson Green. They had two vacancies because of Deguara's signing on Wednesday and because quarterback Kedon Slovis was signed to the active roster on Saturday.
Green is back with the Cardinals. He was signed as a rookie free agent after he went undrafted out of Wisconsin. He did not make the roster and was not re-signed to the practice squad but now gets to practice with the team.
Brown is a 31-year-old veteran tight end who has been in the league since 2017 and has played for the Raiders, Browns, Texans, Patriots and Seahawks. He had two stints in Cleveland, the most recent being 2022 when Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing was the quarterbacks coach. He has 72 receptions for 751 yards (10.4 avg.) and three touchdowns in his career. Last season with Seattle, he caught eight passes for 65 yards in 15 games (seven starts) with the Seahawks. Brown was with the Dolphins during the preseason.
