Boswell sucks they were horrible when he was on the court. The boosters need to hook up Love next season.

Kentucky just hired a guy that’s never won an NCAA tournament game. KENTUCKY!!
Was listening to a podcast yesterday and someone made a good point. There are roughly 15 programs in college hoops that have a legitimate chance of winning a natty year in and year out based on notoriety and prestige, and many of those programs dont come with the scrutiny and attention that UK gets. Baylor and Alabama are a couple of those programs. That being said, you’d have to have someone who’d REALLY want to coach at Kentucky to leave that comfy situation, which is why the motivation for Nate Oats and Scott Drew to leave their respective schools was minimal and mostly media hyperbole. Mark Pope was never going to win anything of substance at BYU due to it being middle-of-the-pack at best in the Big-12 and having a somewhat limited recruiting pool. He’s a very good coach at a school with a low ceiling, so this makes sense for him. UK is just going to have to adjust its perspective.

Defense is kinda sus but he can score. Couple games against name brand teams he had great stats. Ohio State almost swooped in this week and took him.

This is objectively hysterical and I’m all for watching the meltdown that’ll ensure once he goes 2-13 from the field in a game

Pleasant surprise that only started gaining steam in the past 24 hours. He's also open to coming off the bench.

Everything will run better without Boswell’s weird energy. Despite losing Ballo I think they’ll be better assuming the draft guys come back.

These three things will likely happen this week:

1) Caleb Love will pull out of the draft and return to Arizona

2) Joson Sanon will decommit

3) Jamari Phillips will decommit

Phillips is a surprise? Moved to Arizona for HS ball, seems to fit the offense. Any idea why? He's kind of dropped a bit on prospects lists but that shouldn't matter if Arizona likes him?

There's been talk on BRO that a bunch of schools are now all in on transfers and that it's going to impact recruiting where only the absolute elite HS kids are going to be looking at starters minutes as freshmen and you might see 4 star kids going to schools that surprise you figuring they can get minutes and then transfer to a bigger name later. I wonder if that's where Phillips is leaning?

Minutes are gonna be hard to come by this season and Phillips wants to play sooner rather than later.

I also read somewhere he tried to convert from SG to PG and it didn't go very well and that hurt his stock.

There was a time we thought he was a lock to UCLA and all wanted him but now seems like that's not the case if he really does decommit, UCLA probably won't be after him.

on paper UA probably has the best backcourt in the country right now with Love coming back.
