Area girls to earn all-conference status for softball

Clyde senior infielder Mya Stiefel was recognized as most outstanding performer for softball in the Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division, Margaretta senior Cassidy Lane was top player in the SBC Bay Division and eight Gibsonburg girls were first-team in the SBC River Division.

Junior pitcher Madison Myers and sophomore center fielder Ariah Farrar were first-team for the league champion Fliers. Freshman outfielder Jayleigh Flynn was second-team.

Bellevue sophomore pitcher Mallory Hay, junior catcher Ryleigh Knutti and sophomore outfielder Chloe Easterwood were first-team in the Lake Division. Senior infielder MyahAnn Reesman and sophomore outfielder Addison Rich were second-team, and senior infielder Ava Meyer was honorable mention.

SBC River Division​


Sophomore pitcher Aliv Wauford, sophomore infielder Ava Amor, sophomore infielder Mackenzie Muntz, sophomore infielder Katie Hall, senior infielder Emily Henderson, senior outfielder Leah Hall, sophomore outfielder Hannah Crispen and sophomore outfielder Mia Brink were first-team for the league champ Golden Bears.

Old Fort junior catcher Abbi Ward was first-team. Senior pitcher Mylee Sebetto, junior infielder Lucy King and sophomore infielder Marah Miller were second-team

Lakota senior shortstop Lexi Moon and senior outfielder Jerzee Crawford were first-team. Senior pitcher Emma Jurovcik, junior infielder Sophia Bomer and junior infielder Mya Stoudinger were second-team, and senior catcher Chevelle Rubel was honorable mention.

Woodmore junior outfielder Aubrey Becerra was first-team. Junior pitcher Liv Scavio, senior catcher Kelsey Kaylor, senior infielder Camille Strong were second-team.

St. Joseph Central Catholic senior pitcher Savannah Foos, senior infielder Amaree Haralson and senior infielder Riley Naderer were honorable mention.

Gibsonburg junior catcher Emma Jividen was honorable mention.

New Riegel junior pitcher Karsyn Piper was recognized outstanding performer.

SBC Bay Division​


Junior catcher Brooke Hastings, sophomore infielder Lucy Edwards and freshman outfielder Tessa Lane were first-team for the league champ Polar Bears. Senior infielder Ellianna Young and sophomore outfielder Ellaynah Schaefer were second-team.

Port Clinton freshman catcher Micaela Wiechman and sophomore infielder Jae Mazur were first-team. Senior pitcher Marissa Frohne and senior outfielder Alexis Miller were second-team, and senior infielder Gabby Howard and junior outfielder Bella Belden were honorable mention.

Northern Buckeye Conference​


Junior pitcher Morgan LaLonde, senior shortstop Karder Haas, senior catcher Haylee Robinson and senior outfielder Tatum Baumgartner were first-team for conference champ Oak Harbor.

Junior first baseman Delaney Johnson and sophomore outfielder Addison Laubacher were second-team, and senior second baseman Kaitlyn Meloche, junior Payne Lohman was honorable mention.

Genoa senior utility Mya Colvin and junior designated hitter Izzy West were second-team. Junior outfielder Kylie Pennington and senior Makayla Magrum were honorable mention.

Eastwood senior MacKenzie Hady was pitcher of the year and Maumee senior third baseman Taylor Smith was offensive player of the year.

Northern Lakes League Cardinal Division​


Fremont Ross junior shortstop Rubi Almaguer and senior outfielder Jersey Smith and senior utility Lilly Halbeisen were second-team.

Clay senior catcher Madison Franke was player of the year.
