We all knew this day would come

I have some mixed feelings. On one hand I love to see people going nuts for this team. I was at Bashas yesterday with a Cards shirt on and I got high fives from several people.

On the other hand, I feel like this was a really great restaurant that only a few people knew about. Now the words gotten out, prices have gone up and you can't get a seat in the place to enjoy your favorite meal.

Another thing that irks me is the knowledge that once the shine wears off people will retreat back to their unsupporting ways.

I guess I embrace, reluctantly.....

I embrace them. If people keep buying season tickets maybe the Cards will pull them from brokers to give them to individual buyers. Wishful thinking.

Begrudgingly embrace. Once the team heads south these are the people that will be cheering on the other team.

My bandwagon test de jour is to ask people who Kevin Kasper is, if you have followed the team at all the last 10 years, you should know.

I can't stand Bandwagon fans...never have...never will. Kasper...he was the backup for Jake back in 2000 right LOL I forgot that was Chris Greisen...where are all the Greisen supporters? Bench Jake! Kasper was a tough dude.

I welcome them. The more Cardinal fans the better, I say.

What does piss me off is when I get called a bandwagoner. It's usually by loser 49er and Ram fans who are just haters anyway.

We have wanted to build our fan base for years now. We all know who we are that have been around long enough to know what this means (all that it means is when we win games i means more to us...it also makes losing harder to take too mind you)

all i ask of any new fan or bandwagoner if that the mode of transport they chose to get here is that they stick around when we dip in form, it could be next year it could be 10 but it will happen.

I will never forget my first first cards game being radio broadcast (v Dallas on forces radio) the first tv showing...V the eagles....the first nfl magazine which had an article of more then 3 lines in it about the Cards (English mag called Quaterback)...first live game (Titans at SDS) and now this i will never forget....lets hope it doesnt stop now!

So if this happens to be someones FIRST then let them enjoy, but as i said, they need to stick around.

I'm forcing myself to embrace them. :)

Funny thing is I ran into a guy wearing a Giants jersey and a chick wearing an Eagles jersey Sunday. I was wearing my Fitz jersey. Anyway, both of them said they are really Cardinals fans and both would be rooting for them next week. I thought it was strange that someone wearing Eagles gear would say that, but oh well.

I think we are gonna have a lot of people saying "Oh, I still root for insert-original-home-team-here, but the Cards really are my team now."

Just gotta go with it. The more fans, the bigger the party.

Yup. Welcome aboard. Just stick around after the ride's over.

It's nice to get new fans after a big win rather than after a big loss, such as the Monday Night Meltdown

No .. I hate them. There is this ugly lazy fat b at my work who is about 45 and never once said a thing about the Cardinals. She went at 8am yesterday and stood in line with her husband and bought 16 tickets (8 each) and said she now got her jersey from Albertsons and is a die hard Cards fan .... Yet is selling the additional 14 tickets to the highest bidder on Ebay. I told her she should not rip off real Cardinals fans and because of people like her, I couldnt buy a ticket. She said she is going to sell them to whoever pays the most. Eagles fan or not.... :bang:

Ehhh, don't know. More fans is better - for the team, and for the fans.

They do, however, tend to annoy at times.

[edit] - 100%CF - that's not a fan, either old or new. That's just being greedy and trying to make a buck on the team's (and the fan's) back. I hope she has to sit in front of all the hardcore fans who won't sit down for the game - she'll probably complain about it.

I don't think that's the definition of bandwagoner. This is my fourth year rooting for the Cardinals but I doubt anyone is counting me as a "real" fan. Condemned for actions that I have not yet committed. Like it or not, Warner has brought many fans to the Cardinals and guys like Whis, Fitz and Q are likely going to keep a bunch of them around even after Warner retires.

I didnt know the Crudnels had fans. Sorry to say but your sorry excuse for a jv team will blow this weekend. Grandpa Warner will be sitting on his ass as Asante takes one back for a td and you guys can go back to rooting for the Cowgirls.

Sweet Smack talk... LOL .. Morons from Philly never cease to amaze me. .. (oh I didnt know the Crudnals had fans) seriously.. Thats pathetic... Calling us a JV team? Even more pathetic... Rooting for the Cowgirls? Who even knows what this Dipsh1t is saying on this? Hey are you going to the game on Sunday?

How unoriginal. Try posting something intelligent. That way, you can differentiate yourself from the rest of your team's fan base.

If you knew my life story you wouldn't be commenting like this. I follow all Arizona teams, but right now this team hs much of my focus. In the offseason, I'll be rooting for the DBacks and Suns as well. He's my current favorite player and when he retires I'll obviously have to change my ID. That may be after this season. As for cheering for Warner on another team, I wouldn't call myself a fan of that team (Just a Warner fan). I cheered on Warner when he was a Ram, but honestly was cheering for him to do well. I have been a Cardinals team way before Warner, but recently found this forum.

Im saying that your little engine that could is about to run out of steam. When was the last time you won a playoff game? 1947 or something. What has your meth lab of a city contributed to the world ever?

Here's a pic of my cool dog.

Um, last week, *******.

And I'll tell you this - your own QB won't stay in that rat hole of a city you have up there.

Where does he live in the off season?

That's right - Phoenix!
