The Minnesota Vikings have a loaded quarterback room. They boast that the two players are competing for the starting job: Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy. Backing them up will be Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer. Needless to say, they are loaded at the position, but could they still make one more move?

Recently, ESPN's Aaron Schatz lined up a litany of options for teams across the board as one final move to make ahead of training camp. While not directly for the Vikings, he mentions the Indianapolis Colts need to trade away Anthony Richardson Sr.

He is a player who has previously been linked to the Vikings, but would it make sense with a loaded room? Perhaps.

Schatz lays out the need for a trade for the Colts, writing, "It's clear that Richardson is no longer part of the Colts' plans and that they are much more likely to make 2025 sixth-round pick Riley Leonard their backup to Daniel Jones. However, Richardson is still just 24 years old, and any team that wants to acquire him would have him in their system for a season and then have a chance to evaluate him internally before he becomes a free agent at the end of 2026. Despite a $4 million roster bonus coming his way in July, he could be intriguing if there's another team with a veteran starter and room on the roster for a developmental quarterback."

The Vikings seem destined to move on from J.J. McCarthy if their former top pick does not win the job. Richardson is all steak and no sizzle at this point. Give Kevin O'Connell the traits, watch what he can do, and the Vikings perhaps can flip him all over again to make some return on their investment.
