Are Ricky Pearsall, Trent Williams playing tonight? Latest Week 18 injury updates originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.

The San Francisco 49ers have multiple injury question marks ahead of the Week 18 game against the Seattle Seahawks and that list includes left tackle Trent Williams and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall.

Both players are on the team's injury report this week and are questionable to play in the crucial game. Pearsall is dealing with knee and ankle issues while Williams has a hamstring injury that forced his early exit from the Week 17 contest.

Unlike Williams, Pearsall was actually able to log limited practices during the week, so his prospects of playing are better than Williams'.

That said, here's what we know about both players ahead of kickoff with the Seahawks on Saturday night.

Is Ricky Pearsall playing tonight?

We don't have a definitive answer on Pearsall's status yet, but he was dealing with the same injuries last week and also logged three limited practices before suiting up.

With there being no news about Pearsall aggravating his injuries last week, we would expect the second-year wideout to play without limitations.

Pearsall ripped off five catches for 85 yards last week.

Is Trent Williams playing tonight?

Again, no definitive answer here, but Williams appears more likely to sit out than play.

That's because Williams didn't log any semblance of practice participation during the week, which indicates he isn't particularly close to suiting up.

While he is certainly capable of playing without any practice, the Niners are likely going to play it safe with their star left tackle if he isn't 100%, as it's far more important to have him available for the playoffs.

We'll get final confirmation on both Williams and Pearsall no later than an hour and a half before the two teams kick off on Saturday night.
