The final round of group stage fixtures delivered high drama and decisive results as the lineup for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup 2025 in Qatar was officially completed.
The eight remaining contender will now battle for place in the last four of the prestigious regional tournament.
Algeria & UAE complete Quarter Final lineup
Algeria sealed top spot in Group D with disciplined 2-0 victory over Iraq booking their place in the knockout stage with authority.
The UAE, meanwhile produced crucial 3-1 win over Kuwait to snatch the second ticket from Group C capitalising on Egypt’s heavy 0-3 defeat to Jordan.
A result that sent the Pharaohs crashing out while confirming Jordan’s first place finish.
