OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — For the first time in seven years, there is a new champion in Region 3.
The Apollo Eagles upset the Daviess Co. Panthers 2-1 to earn the regional title and punch their ticket to the state tournament.
The Eagles are set to play their first game at John Coop Stadium on June 4 when they face the champion of Region 5.
