I just got a Axim 30 and have begun playing with it. Does anyone else have one and what do you think?

I have one...lol. Two years later.

It won't turn on today, though. :(

I really like mine, especially now that there is a lot of software available for it.

I had a problem when I dropped it and broke the screen, but Dell replaced it.
I don't know why it died today, but a hard reset worked.

Any specific questions?

No just wanted to make sure it wasn't a piece of **(^)*^ before I implemented the technology and had to worry about it falling apart.

I've got an old X5 that's been rugged as hell! I had an original Palm Pilot that blew up in just days. The model I have has a compact flash AND SD card slot. It's still chuggin' along, and the screen even looks good years later. :)

No problems with that. :)

I have a 1GB card in it and use the Axim for normal stuff like a calendar, contacts, wireless internet, etc., but I download huge documents on to it, copy dvds to it, use it as my GPS display screen, use some really cool Russian language software on it, etc. I almost freaked when it wouldn't turn on this morning. :)

I have heard they don't sell the X30 anymore, though. Not sure what the latest one is, but I'm sure you're doing the research.
