It’s this simple:
There’s so much top-end, day-1 contributing defensive talent in this draft and no quarterback fail-safe enough to give up on Rosen’s development.
I’m not anti-Murray so much as I am pro-Bosa, Q, and Rosen. Drafting Murray would be a symbol of disfunction for the front office for a number of reasons

I don't believe he has the drive/heart to be great. I think he's doing what's best for him financially but doesn't have that drive to be the greatest.

I do not like his still passionate feelings for baseball when asked about his decision which might take him away from playing football eventually. I do not like his lack of working the middle of the field and his absence of tight window throws. There seems to be more of a stop and go completion on his interior throws and makes one question is he able to lead a WR on timing routes. Only one year of productive college football also warrants some consideration. His height is not a problem, QBs throw through windows on the OL and not over them. With the new rules on contact with a emphasis on the QB, I do not seem him having more of a injury chance than any other QB. He has an elite arm and those short arms are only an advantage to his quick release... his size is not a problem and I view him as a legit prospect but see Rosen as superior

Said another way...why are you against drafting Murray.
Stop asking its almost annoying
The way he acts in interviews. Indecision on whether to play football or baseball. It's not ridiculous. All of the great QB's had a strong desire to be the best. Murray doesn't come off as having that desire. If he did then playing football would have been an easy decision for him. Pretty simple.

Higher bust rate than Rosen. And yes I realize that a cowardly approach so don’t bother arguing with me.
I’m not buying the Dalton/low ceiling comps for Rosen either. He’s two years younger than Mayfield who would’ve been a craptastic NFL QB at 21 as well. He needs more time.

I see a Matt Ryan or more accurately Eli Manning when he's on... Rosen has a way better arm than Dalton who is the very definition of a game manager because of his lack of arm strength to make every NFL throw

Guys. I am not asking the question multiple times. I am restating the original question.
I guess we will have to settle for Josh "if football doesn't work out, I won't need to work at McDonald's" Rosen.

Seems a little hypocritical. I'm sure most of us wouldn't want to be judged if we had multiple opportunities on the table... especially at a young age. I don't fault him or his dad for any of this. This kid could end up doing something no one has EVER done before.. being a first round pick in two sports. I think it's pretty incredible. But of course I do. Lol

Josh has said he wants to be the best. He stated he wants to win more Superbowls than TB. Lame response.
Hypocritical how? Either he has the desire to be the best at one sport or he doesn't. Right now it looks like he doesn't. Murray could end up like Cutler & don't care.

Cool. Those are two conflicting responses from Josh. No? I guess its just me.. but I don't want my QB talking about football not possibly working out. Petty maybe.. but just my feelings on it.
Last I checked.. he declared and when he did gave up guaranteed money from the MLB. That sounds committed enough to me. He doesnt have to go around telling everyone he is going to be the greatest...for me at least.
