Anthony Edwards was a man on a mission on Sunday. He knew what a win in Game 4 would mean for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he made sure that this was going to be the case after the final buzzer.
Edwards went off on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers, dropping a game-high 43 points on 12-of-23 shooting, to go along with nine rebounds, six assists, a block and just one turnover in 44 minutes of action. The 23-year-old also knocked down five triples on the evening to lead Minnesota to a pivotal 116-113 win over L.A.
NBA on TNT caught up with Edwards right after the game, and the Wolves superstar admitted that this game was one for the books.
"Man, I've been dreaming all my life for these moments, man," Edwards said.

Edwards then went on to reveal his inspiration for the game. His one-year-old daughter, Aislynn, was in attendance at Target Center on Sunday, which gave the three-time All-Star even more motivation for the contest.
"My baby was able to come to see me play," he continued. "My Azy Pazy, my little girl, she was able to come to see me play today. So I wanted to make the most of it, man.
"I know she's not going to remember it, but she's going to look back at it one day and see she was at the game. So that was what really drove me today."
Not only is Edwards one of the top stars in the game today, but he's also a dedicated father to his little girl.
He will need to leave Minnesota, though, as the Wolves travel to L.A. for Game 5 on Wednesday. With the Timberwolves just one victory away from winning this series, Edwards is hoping that he is able to return home to his family with a place in the second round secured.
