Anthony Edwards has become one of the NBA's biggest stars. He has done this through his excellent play on the basketball court, but he also has a bombastic personality that people are drawn to.

Alongside his explosive play on the court, Ant also loves having fun. That is why he's always talking trash to his opponents and showing his bravado in interviews. That is reminiscent of how Gary Payton used to play during the 1990s and 2000s.

"I went up to him because of course, I heard stuff about him. Then I go and watch film on him, and he was really like that. I told him 'I'm a big fan and I loved the way you guarded, man.' Even offensively, he had a lot of game."
