Notre Dame football has been doing a great job adding top talent to its 2027 recruiting class, and on Friday, another 5-star joined the fold.

Offensive lineman Albert Simien, a 6-foot, 4-inch and 280-pound Louisiana native picked the Irish over Texas A&M and LSU on Friday afternoon. He’s ranked as the No. 14 overall prospect in his class according to the 247Sports Composite.

Notre Dame’s recruiting has gotten hot again, as Simien is the fourth commitment over the last two weeks. Every one of them is at least a 4-star, with Simien and Sesay being 5-stars. It should come as no surprise that the Irish are doing well, as head coach Marcus Freeman has elevated the talent level since taking over the program.

The 2027 class now sits at twenty-one total commits, with a few more spots still being available.
