Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke with reporters after practice on Thursday at Missouri Western State University. He revealed his quarterback rotation plan for this Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Rams at Arrowhead Stadium, with Patrick Mahomes sidelined.

"The way the rotation will go is Pat (Patrick Mahomes) won't start or play," said Reid. "So it'll be Justin (Fields) and then (Garrett) Nussmeier, and then Chris (Oladokun) will take it from there. We'll just see how the reps go as we work through that."

The three quarterbacks playing on Saturday each had active 2025 campaigns that may not have ended positively. The opportunities during preseason will go a long way in determining their places on the depth chart before the start of the 2026 season.
