The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the advanced Class-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, have a roster loaded with prospect star power. But you better get to Appleton to see them soon, before they head south to Biloxi.
Andrew Fischer, the team's first-round draft pick in 2025, has picked up where he left off after competing for Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic. On April 8, he launched a grand slam against Quad Cities during a 9-1 win for the Timber Rattlers (3-1).
Fischer, the No. 6 prospect in the organization according to MLB Pipeline, has five hits in 13 at-bats this season, with three walks and six RBIs, plus a stolen base. Fischer homered and hit two doubles among his five hits in 14 at-bats for Italy during its surprising run to the WBC semifinals, with a pair of walks, five RBIs and three runs.

Josh Adamczewski (the Brewers' No. 11 prospect) also hit a three-run homer in the win. They join Marco Dinges (No. 10), Eric Bitonti (No. 26) and 2024 first-round pick Braylon Payne (No. 14) with home runs already in the first four games of the Wisconsin season.
Not to be outdone, shortstop Luis Peña, the No. 2 prospect in the organization and No. 23 in all of MLB, has two RBI singles among his three hits in nine at-bats, with five walks, three stolen bases and five runs.
