Althoughj I agree that Suggs is the likely choice there is still an outside shot they select Leftwich!! So I will keep the faith alive as long as I can..

Or maybe even Newman at this point. The Cards are sitting pretty good at #6 either way.

I cannot friggin wait till tomorrow.

I'll repeat what I said on another thread - Most if not all teams don't yet know what they're going to do in the draft.

Many teams will be fielding updated offers right up to the point where they hand in the cards. Each change will create new dominos and no one can be sure who'll do the deals and what these deals will turn out to be.

Graves has undoubtedly made moves designed to keep all his options open. They include -

1. Keeping the #6.

2. Trading up (honest!)

3. Trading down.

4. Trading down more than once.

5. Selecting from a wideout, Suggs, Newman, Trufant, K Williams or Kennedy (depending on where the Cards finally pick)

6. Using TJ to sweeten the pot.

7. Trading TJ even-up for another player.

This is why Graves decided to put the Marcus Robinson issue "on hold" til the dust settles after the draft - too much uncertainty.

So if anyone tells you they absolutely, positively know how the draft will go tomorrow, they're full of bleep.

Just a quick question:

I know that a ton of people on this board are infatuated with Leftwich, but has there ever, in print, been anything out of Cards camp or in the rumors section of any website of record that might suggest that the Cards are interested in him?

I know that Mac's said a couple times that he's a good interview, but I've never heard anything from anywhere except on this board that the Cards have anything more than the mildest interest in actually selecting Leftwich.

That being said, I give you Kerouac9's Lock of the Darft: The Arizona Cardinals will not select a quarterback in the first three rounds of the 2003 National Football League College Draft.

[Just for old time's sake. It's good to have you back, old friend.]
