There are some pissed off Mormons about the show. The Deseret News is not happy....

As for me..... I think Netflix hit the nail pretty much square on the head. The wife and I binged it and really enjoyed it. Like anything else, it has a few warts, but what doesn't?

A very compelling watch. It touches on some shocking and little known history. I grew up in Mesa, and this definitely wasn't covered in history class.

Perhaps the Deseret News should produce their own version of a film explaining the Meadows Massacre and these other actual events? I mean, this tragic event and the bloody coverup actually happened, not sure how to sugarcoat it.

I guess they were butt hurt the way Brigham Young was portrayed.
