If the Bills have a better record than the Cardinals this season, I will change my screenname to Shirley.

:lmao:

Gotta say Mulli you crack me up on a consitent basis.

NFLN did a segment on which playoff teams from last year won't repeat and yes the Cards were a popular choice.

Whis doesn't have to do any extra work this year coming up with the disrespect card he knows how to play.

Im surprised that my boy Mallet is getting any look ins as a potential number 1 pick. I spoke about him a while back saying we shouldnt draft a QB high this year because the QB crop of 2011 is vastly better. I thought at the time that Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert and another QB whose name has escaped my mind would all likely go ahead of Mallett and therefore there might've been a chance he slid to the latter part of the draft for us to nab him there. I guess even with our QB more resolved at the moment than it was back then the chances of Mallett falling are minimal.

All we heard last season was 'Super Bowl hangover' and how we wouldn't make it to the playoffs. Funny how no one had that thought about the Steelers.

Really, the question is:

Can the 9ers unseat us? Because if they can't, we're back in the playoffs.

Outstanding point. I don't recall any "expert" acknowledging that we accomplished what very few teams have.

When's your next article. ;)

Actually, I do remember one article on Yahoo at least that did mention this - that it is the Superbowl winner hangover this time - but for the most part, you are right...

The only reason I can see the Cardinals cast in this position is the question mark at QB. With all the seeming good off season moves if the QB doesn't produce the Cardinals are in trouble. Also I still worry about CB.

That said, I don't see the Cardinals being the league's 7th worst team based on the 2011 draft position. The Cardinals should be rock solid with some solid play from ML. I'm feeling good about the Cardinals offensive and defensive lines.

Luck from Stanford. The rams message boards fought till many people were banned over pre-draft talk of taking Brittleford oh I mean Bradford and take Suh instead. Most wanted to wait till next year and take Locker instead.I'm not a member of said message board only a laughing lurker.

Peter Schrager at Foxsports.com did a 2011 mock draft and also has the Cardinals picking #7. He also said the Cards take a huge step back. Never have been much of a Schrager fan and he's never been much of a Cards fan. Take it for what it's worth I guess.

Sorry for the off topic thread post.

The talking heads almost 90% think Matt can't lead this team.I'm sure Kurt Warner would privately tell you Matt will succeed if he is given the time.I think we just addressed that by bringing in a VETS,Vet at OL to upgrade our whole OL.

I don't think Matt can take the beating Kurt Warner took the last three years as it was always part of his game to hold the ball till the last second and get the completion but take the hit. Those same hits I don't think Matt can absorb and continue on with. Its not part of Matts style to play it the same way and NO ONE in the press has a clue as to how Matt will do this season.

They can't base it off the Titans game where Kurt got 90% of the reps all week in practice and on gameday chose to sit the game out.The game was'nt set up for Matts style of play to help him succeed.

I still hate thinking about that last game winning drive completed to their #1 rookie wr last year in a jump ball ending.

Matt WILL surprise many talking heads next season.I hope in the same way the packers did with Favre's backup showed the league. We still beat him in the Playoffs last year.:D

Well, I hope so... he certainly did not instill any confidence in anyone with his limited appearances last season. We will see.

Yep thats the guy. If i remember correctly though he may not enter the draft so its no lock he figures into the equation.

Btw dude what were you doing on a Rams board? is that the internet equivalent of Ghetto Tourism?:D

I really really hope that Lienhart fails but Wiz being such a good coach will probably find a way to highlight the good qualities and downplay the bad.

That being said the this guy has us being a top 10 team and uhhh I cant say I disagree!

Is there any way we could create an edited-down sticky for each outrageous/negative preseason media comment about the Cardinals that we can keep til the end of the season for all to see at the end of the season after we once again prove the whole world wrong?

Andrew Perloff? He's the goofy tech support guy on the Dan Patrick radio show. Quite literally, there are dozens of members of this board who are more informed than him. LOL.
