Upon appeal, the NFL has reduced Commanders LB Frankie Luvu's one-game suspension to a $100,000 fine.

#Commanders LB Frankie Luvu had his one game suspension dropped. He’ll have to pay a $100,000 fine but is eligible to play on Sunday vs the Detroit Lions.

He’s been fined over 150k so far this season by the league for the three hip drop tackles.

Luvu would have lost over half a million dollars if the suspension had been upheld:

Frankie Luvu's one-game suspension is without pay. If it stands, it would cost him $508,333, or one-eighteenth of his 2025 salary of $9.15 million. (Players are paid over 18 weeks of the regular season, including one bye week.)
