The 2025 NFL season is growing ever closer by the day, and with that, the New Orleans Saints will once again have a chance to prove that going in the direction of being competitive is the right choice. While it ultimately may not be the right call, they will stick to it, and it will be intriguing to see if they are able to prove the doubters wrong or if they end up picking highly again come 2026.

One of the things that will make their path easier is the fact that they have been getting easier strength of schedule each season, both because the NFC South is not particularly good, but also because they have been bad and will, in turn, get easier opponents sometimes. This will be the case in 2025, as the strength of schedule has been calculated again this year, but in a different manner, focusing on projected win totals rather than 2024 win totals.

This factors in major changes to teams and general consensus, rather than just looking back at their past season, which hypothetically gives more insight. With Warren Sharp calculating it this year, here is how each team ranks, from easiest schedule to hardest:
