With the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine behind him, Oregon Ducks offensive tackle Alex Harkey has begun the process of scheduling private workouts with specific NFL teams in the lead up the draft in late April.
According to On3's Pete Nakos, Harkey will workout privately for the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys in the coming weeks, while also being set to fully test at Oregon's Pro Day after opting out of agility testing at the combine.
The 6-foot-6, 308-pounder had formal meetings with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers last week in Indianapolis. He also spoke with the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers.
Harkey has a wide draft range, with media outlets such as CBS listing him within their top 100 prospects while PFF has him outside their top 400. He's expected to be drafted in the later rounds, but all it takes is one team to be blown away with the former Ducks' ability and edge that he showed on film to take a chance.
Harkey arrived in Eugene prior to the 2025 season, as he was an all-conference selection at Texas State in 2024 and wanted to build his draft stock during his final season of eligibility. It worked out as planned, as Harkey, thanks to an impressive senior season, has put himself in position to hear his name called in late April.
