Alejandro Garnacho recently joined Aston Villa on loan after a rough season with Chelsea -Credit

The Argentine made his Aston Villa debut against Indonesia All Stars as Unai Emery's team secured a 3-1 win, after which the 22-year-old couldn't help taking a shot at the Blues.
Garnacho linked up with the UEFA Europa League champions on a season-long loan arrangement with a conditional obligation to purchase for £43 million ($57.7 million), should Villa choose to activate it. There appears to be no affection remaining for his previous employers after hinting at a miserable spell at Stamford Bridge.
Xabi Alonso deemed the forward expendable following his appointment as permanent boss. Garnacho, who departed Manchester United amid controversy last summer, has now ignited another acrimonious fallout after leaving a club, as per The Mirror.

Posting on social media after their 3-1 win, Garnacho wrote: "First start after three months. Happy to be enjoying football again. One percent every day. Thanks Indonesia."
The forward's tenure at Old Trafford ended on a sour note before his original move to Stamford Bridge collapsed in January 2025. Garnacho fell out of favor under Ruben Amorim and was omitted from the squad for the triumph over Manchester City, while his exclusion from the Europa League Final starting lineup triggered a post-game tirade.
United will be tracking developments closely as Garnacho prepares for his first season in the West Midlands. Michael Carrick's side would be entitled to 10 percent of any future transfer fee for the Argentine, and should the buyout clause be triggered, Villa will be required to pay £43 million for his signature.
Garnacho suffered a difficult debut season in the capital, during a turbulent period for the Londoners that witnessed a series of managerial changes. Enzo Maresca had been eager to bring the United winger to the club but left in January after 18 months in charge.

Liam Rosenior was later appointed as his successor, yet his tenure proved short-lived, with the axe falling after just 106 days.
Alonso was confirmed as permanent boss this summer following Calum McFarlane's spell as caretaker. Yet in the Spaniard's very first move at Stamford Bridge, he showed the Argentine the door.
Emery now faces the challenge of reviving Garnacho's career after punishing spells at both United and Chelsea. The Europa League-winning manager said: "We are delighted with Alejandro. He is so talented, young and he showed us his wish to help our project. We are really happy."
