According to Yea Alabama, the Alabama Crimson Tide are set to host the Kennesaw State Owls during the 2026-27 season.

The Owls, who are led by former Alabama assistant and player Antoine Pettway, will visit Coleman Coliseum on Nov. 17, per Yea Alabama. Details on the start time and television network will be revealed at a later date.

This will be the first time Pettway is back inside Coleman Coliseum since the 2022-23 season, the final of his 15 years spent as an assistant on the Alabama staff prior to taking the head coaching position at Kennesaw State. Prior to becoming an assistant, Pettway was a four-year player with the Crimson Tide in the early 2000's.

Kennesaw State is coming off a 2025-26 season which included a NCAA Tournament appearance at 21-14 overall (10-10 CUSA), falling in the first round. Pettway will enter his fourth season as head coach at Kennesaw State later this year, sporting a combined 55-44 overall record over the previous three.

Alabama has faced the Owls twice historically, the most recent of which came just this past season in Huntsville via a 92-81 win for the Crimson Tide. The two also met in Tuscaloosa during the 2015-16 season, a 77-64 win for the Crimson Tide.
