According to On3's Joe Tipton, the Alabama Crimson Tide have officially landed a commitment from highly-touted 2026 forward Jaxon Richardson.

One of Alabama's top remaining uncommitted targets, Richardson chose the Crimson Tide on Thursday over a list of additional finalists that also included Creighton, Ole Miss, and USC.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Richardson is considered as the nation's No. 27 overall prospect in the 2026 class, as well as the No. 10 small forward nationally. A four-star recruit, Richardson also ranks as the No. 5 player in the state of Florida where he attends Southeastern Prep.

Richardson now becomes the third member of Alabama's 2026 class alongside signees Qayden Samuels and Tarris Bouie. Each of those Crimson Tide commits are considered as Top 50 overall players in the class, per 247Sports.

There is a chance the Crimson Tide might not be done adding in the 2026 class either, as some targets still remain uncommitted, most notably elite guard Caleb Holt. Holt ranks as the nation's No. 1 shooting guard, as well as No. 4 player nationally, in the 2026 cycle, per 247Sports.
