According to AL.com's Nick Kelly, a Tuscaloosa judge has denied Alabama Crimson Tide center Charles Bediako's motion for a preliminary injunction. As a result, Bediako is ineligible to play for Alabama across the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

Formely at Alabama during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, Bediako was attempting a return to college basketball after spending part of the last three years in the NBA G League. Bediako had previously been granted a temporary restraining order, which declared him to eligible to play prior to a court hearing.

That court hearing took place in Tuscaloosa this past Friday.

With Bediako, Alabama had a 3-2 combined record across their last five contests which included home wins over Missouri and Texas A&M, as well as a road victory at Auburn. Alabama's two losses came at home against Tennessee, as well as at Florida.

During those five games, Bediako had two starts, and across an average of 21.6 minutes a contest, averaged 10 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks on 77.3% shooting from the field, as well as 69.6% at the free throw line.

The Crimson Tide will be back in action this upcoming Wednesday, Feb. 11, on the road at Ole Miss. That game will begin at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
