Ajax without Baas against NAC Breda, Weghorst on the verge of recovery

According to Ajax head coach Francesco Farioli, the Amsterdammers will not be able to count on Youri Baas against NAC Breda on Sunday. As Voetbal International report, the defender is not yet fit enough, but there could be a return for Wout Weghorst.

Baas was injured in the top of the table clash with PSV last week and will now also miss the home match against NAC. “It is not very serious, but he will not be there against NAC. We will do everything we can to have him available for the next matches. For him it is important to work hard off the field so that he can help the team in the final phase of the season”, Farioli said via Ajax’s club channels.
