AJ Dybantsa was the No. 1 overall pick in this year's NBA Draft, and he was born in Brockton, Massachusetts.

The Red Sox had Dybantsa at Fenway Park on Saturday to throw out the first pitch against the New York Yankees. The Massachusetts native's name was mispelled by the Red Sox social media admin on the social media post noting his first pitch. Former NBA All-Star Michael Redd called out the mistake on X.

I like to think I was solid at tennis, so I love cross sports promotion. But in this case, some one on the Red Sox social team dropped the ball.

They spelled AJ’s last name incorrectly, before later deleting it.

The Red Sox did not misspell his name intentionally, and Dybantsa knows that. He handled the situation with class with an X post of his own.

"All good OG," Dybantsa wrote on X on Saturday night. "It's always love back home."

He may be playing for the Wizards now, but he still has love for his home state.
