The All-American teams were announced Tuesday, featuring a freshman-heavy first team. BYU’s AJ Dybantsa earned first-team honors alongside Duke’s Cameron Boozer and Arkansas’ Darius Acuff Jr., giving the squad three freshmen. Michigan’s Yaxel Lendeborg and Texas Tech’s JT Toppin rounded out the first team as upperclassmen.
Boozer became the second consecutive Duke freshman to be a unanimous first-team All-American, following 2025 No. 1 NBA Draft pick Cooper Flagg. The son of former Blue Devil and longtime NBA player Carlos Boozer, he has averaged 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists while shooting 56.5% from the field and 40.9% from three-point range. Boozer led Duke to a 32–2 record entering Thursday’s NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 overall seed.
Dybantsa received 57 of 61 first-team votes. The 19-year-old averaged 25.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists this season. Acuff, another freshman selection, earned 47 votes after a breakout year in which he averaged 22.9 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 44.5% from beyond the arc.
Although Lendeborg is a not a freshman, he is in his first season with Michigan. Lendeborg, a transfer from UAB, averaged 14.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists. Toppin posted 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game while shooting 54.8% from the field before suffering a torn ACL in February.
On the second team, freshmen Keaton Wagler of Illinois and Caleb Wilson of North Carolina were selected. Wilson has not played since Feb. 10 due to a hand and thumb injury. Houston freshman Kingston Flemings earned a third-team honor.
